| 2009 Ellendale Youth "Do and Discover" |
| On August 1, 2009, the Dacotah Territory Muzzle Loaders partcipated in the Ellendale (ND) Youth "Do and Discover" day at the Dickey County Fairgrounds. They had a petting zoo, demonstrations, opportunities for children to make sunbonnets and "Daniel Boone" caps and other activities.
The club demonstrated Firestarting, while conducting open participation in shooting a muzzleloader and primitive bow, throwing a tomahawk and knife, and enjoying some old-time fiddling, frybread and the popular candy cannon.
Everyone involved had a great time and the club hopes to make a return-trip to Ellendale next year. |

 The club had 8 or 9 lodges set up for the public. |
